High quality foot brake kit for the Surron Ultra Bee that comes with a removable rotor guard. Easily modulate the brake in wheelies but still lock up the wheel when needed. If you want to up your stunt game, then this foot brake is for you. Surron caliper will need to be removed from OEM caliper bracket along with caliper mounting pins and brake pad bracket then installed on the new caliper mount/brake rotor guard. Installation is pretty easy and generally takes less than 1 hour to install and get the brakes bled properly.
Kit includes everything except DOT 4/5.1 brake fluid: -OEM Surron Ultra Bee caliper -Nissin master -Footbrake with swinging toe press -Brake line -Footbrake spring -Installation hardware
Bleed tips: Bleeding is a breeze as long as you position the rear wheel higher than the master. Remove rear wheel, install foot brake kit but do not install caliper yet. We usually bleed these with the tire off, sitting on a 5 gallon bucket positioned higher than the master with caliper sitting on rotor.
Fill the master with fluid.
Push and hold the foot brake all the way down
Open caliper bleeder screw
Close caliper screw
Let off foot brake
Pump foot brake a few times to build pressure
Repeat steps 1-6 until the foot brake is pressurized and you can see it gripping rotor well and no bubbles are coming through system.
